I am an author of three books to date, with a fourth currently in the works. I am also and have worked primarily as a screen-writer and film and TV director. In that have over thirty years experience, directing over 100 hours of primetime TV in the UK for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. My work received a ‘Best Drama BAFTA’ Award in 2006 and several other BAFTA and RTE Award nominations. I have also worked in commercials, winning Silver at the New York Film Festival and runner up in the Film 4 Directors Cut Awards.
I have six feature films in development and I teach Screen acting to university drama students.
I am a keen painter in oils and last but very much not least, am the father to two wonderfully well balanced, talented and now fully grown young men.
